About Us
Merthyr Tydfil Public Library Service delivers the statutory library service for Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.
Public libraries in Wales are governed by the 1964 Libraries and Museums Act and work towards achieving the Welsh Public Library Standards. The Welsh Public Library Standards are the method by which the Minister with responsibility for libraries can measure whether the service is delivering on the 1964 Act.
