Join us for a day of discovery and celebration as we mark 200 years of railway history with a special community event here at Brecon Mountain Railway!
In partnership with the Three Valleys Community Rail Partnership, Merthyr Tydfil Library, Transport for Wales, and Merthyr County Borough Council, this event brings together local organisations to share stories, heritage, and how railways continue to shape our region today.

Climb aboard our 2:30PM departure for Steam Through Time, a guided journey with local historian Huw Williams, who will share the fascinating story of the line, the landscape, and the industrial heart of Bannau Brycheiniog. (Standard train fare applies – tickets sold separately)
